Eileen Derbyshire – 89

When Eileen Derbyshire left Coronation Street in 2015, she held the record for the longest-serving woman cast member of the popular drama. No wonder the showrunners left the door open for a possible comeback for her character when she took time off to deal with personal matters.

With her husband of 56 years, Thomas W. Holt passing away in February 2021, it’s safe to say she might not be returning any time soon. Losing her lifelong companion to Alzheimer’s, Derbyshire is probably more focused these days on spending as much time as possible with her remaining family.
