Darryl Hickman – 89

Paramount scouted Darryl Hickman when he was a little boy, casting him in Bing Crosby’s The Star Maker. Crosby was so impressed with his performance that he made sure the boy had a future in film. Hickman spent his entire childhood acting in films, something which he later regretted. He ventured into producing and writing after a stint in a monastery. His long career in Hollywood made sure that he didn’t have to worry about taking out loans, as his savings account was always filled.cl
